*How to add a paralegal to a case.

Depending on your workflow, you may choose to assign a paralegal (or multiple paralegals) to a case.  This can be helpful for tracking/reporting purposes.  Here’s how to do it:

  • Navigate to the case
  • Select the tab titled “Case Details”
  • Select the appropriate paralegal from the “Primary paralegal/staff” dropdown menu
  • Click the “Save” button

To track the cases that a paralegal is assigned to, use the case list feature.

  1. Navigate to Cases > List in your left sidebar:
  2. At the far right side under the “New” button, click on the downward pointing arrow:
  3. Select Columns > Primary paralegal/staff:
  4. Now, type the name of a paralegal in the “Primary paralegal…” column and view the results:
