How to add a paralegal to a case.

Depending on your workflow, you may choose to assign a paralegal (or multiple paralegals) to a case.  This can be helpful for tracking/reporting purposes.  Here’s how to do it:

  • Navigate to the case
  • Select the tab titled “Case Details”
  • Select the appropriate paralegal from the “Primary paralegal/staff” dropdown menu
  • Click the “Save” button

To track the cases that a paralegal is assigned to, use the Case Management Board.

  • Navigate to Case Management Board > List in your left sidebar
  • Click on the “Filter” button
  • Select Columns > Primary paralegal
  • Now, select the paralegal from the Dropdown menu and view the results
