You have been waiting for it, and it is finally here!
Just like you can do with Consular Process forms, now USCIS E-filing is automatic. Make sure you install the Prima.Law Extension to make use of this ALL NEW powerful feature.
IMPORTANT: Please Make sure your USCIS Account is fully set up (Attorney Information, Business/Firm Information, etc) before you make use of the E-filing feature.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1. Installing the Prima.Law Chrome Extension
- Install Extension: Ensure you have the Prima.Law Extension installed.
- Check Form Information: Before proceeding, ensure all the necessary information is filled in the form within Prima.Law. This can be done through a Smart Interview, Manual Filling, or Client Portal access.
- 2. Preparing the Form
- Verify Information: Use the form editor to verify that all required information is correctly entered. Scroll through the form to check for completeness.
- 3. Using the “Send to Extension” Button
- Log into the desired USCIS Account: If not already logged in, enter your USCIS account username, password, and two-factor authentication code if applicable.
- Create or Select the contact in your USCIS Account who will be applying for the benefit.
- Navigate to Case Page in Prima.Law: Go to the case page for the contact. Navigate to the “Forms” tab.
- Click “Send to Extension”: Select the form you want to e-file (e.g., I-90) and click the “Send to Extension” button.
- You will be prompted to tick the box “Accredited Representative” (If you are using an individual account on USCIS, please select this option. If you are using an Attorney account, leave it blank). This is essential for both individual and attorney accounts.
- Choose to either:
- Create a new form
- Resume a form that was previously in progress.
π IMPORTANT: Save Your USCIS Application ID - Once the autofill process begins, be sure to save or store the Application ID (found in the address bar of your browser). This ID allows you to resume the form if the process is paused or interrupted for any reason.
- To continue filling out the form later:
- Navigate back to the same case in Prima.Law.
- Click on the “Send to Extension” button again.
- Select “Continue form” and enter the Application ID when prompted.
- This simple step ensures you donβt lose your progress and can pick up right where you left off.
- NEW FEATURE: Multiple Form Submission (v3.0.37):
- As of Extension Version 3.0.37, Prima.Law now supports Multiple Form Submission through the e-filing extension!
- In addition to the existing buttons β New Form and Resume Form β you will now see a “Multiple Form” button. This new option allows users to send more than one USCIS form in a single submission through the e-filing tool.
- Currently Supported Forms: At this time, the following forms are supported for multi-form filing: Form I-131A, Form I-907
- Until now, users had to submit forms one at a time, creating delays or submission inefficiencies. With Multiple Form Submission, these challenges are resolved β making e-filing more flexible and client-friendly.
- 4. Automating the Form Filling Process
- Automatic Filling: The extension will begin to automatically fill in the form on the USCIS website.
- Resume Automation: Click “Next” and then “Play” to resume the automated process.
- 5. Creating Additional Forms
- Repeat Process: For other forms like I-130, follow the same steps. The extension will automatically input the information.
- 6. Ensuring Complete Information
- Double-check Data: To avoid interruptions, ensure all necessary information is filled in the form within Prima.Law before starting the automated process.
The new automated USCIS e-filing feature using the Prima.Law Chrome extension streamlines the form-filling process, making it more efficient. Ensure all information is correctly entered in the form within Prima.Law to minimize manual input during automation. Enjoy this new functionality and enhance your workflow.
