Step 1: Subscribing to Prima.Law

  1. Go to the Prima.Law Website:
    • Navigate to the signup page
    • Click on Create a New Account.
  2. Enter Your Firm Information:
    • Provide your law firm name and other required details.
    • Complete the signup process and look for the confirmation email in your inbox.
  3. Activate Your Account:
    • Open the activation email and click the provided link to activate your account.
    • Once activated, you can log in with your credentials.
  4. Start Your Free Trial:
    • After logging in, you will be directed to the subscription page.
    • Prima.Law offers a 15-day free trial. No charges will apply if you cancel before the trial expires.
    Note: A credit card is required during the trial sign-up to prevent fraudulent accounts.

Step 2: Understanding Licenses

  • Core License:
    • Required for each user to access Prima.Law.
  • Immigration Forms Library License:
    • Needed for immigration attorneys to access forms and features tailored for immigration law.
  • Additional Libraries:
    • Optional libraries (e.g., California state forms) can be added as needed.
    Example: For one user, you’ll need one Core License and one Immigration License. Adjust the number of licenses based on the number of users and their roles.

Step 3: Adding Payment Information

  • Enter your credit card details on the subscription page.
  • You’ll receive an email reminder 5 days before the trial expiration.
  • Click Pay to activate your subscription.Reminder: Cancel your subscription before the trial ends to avoid charges.

Step 4: Managing Licenses

  1. Assign Licenses to Users:
    • Navigate to the administrator panel.
    • Assign available licenses (Core and Immigration) to your users.
  2. Inviting Additional Users:
    • Go to the Users Tab and click Invite New User.
    • Enter the user’s email address and assign the required licenses.
    • The user will receive an activation email. Once activated, they’ll appear in your user list.

    • To grant administrative privileges, change their role to Administrator.

    • Scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button.

    • Add 3 Core Licenses and 3 Immigration Licenses.
