How to search Prima.Law for contact information and export reports

You can search Prima for A#’s, phone numbers and other criteria.

The widget used for viewing contacts and cases is identical. Therefore, the way to search by additional information in each of these areas is also identical.

Step-by-Step Guide

    • Open Contacts List: Begin by clicking on the “Contacts List.”
    • Create New Contact: If needed, you can create a new contact by clicking the “New Contact” button.
  • 2. Exporting Contact Information
    • Export Options: There are two main options for exporting contact information:
      • Grid Content to CSV: This option allows you to export a customizable grid of contact data to a CSV file.
      • Full Contact List with Addresses and Phones: This option exports a comprehensive list of contacts, including addresses and phone numbers.
    • Choose Export Type: Select the appropriate option based on your needs.
  • 3. Customizing Exported Data
    • Add/Remove Columns: Click on the down arrows next to column headers to add or remove columns. This allows you to customize the data included in your export.

      • Example: Add the “Sex” column to filter clients by male or female.
  • 4. Filtering Data
    • Filter by Column Data: You can filter contacts based on the information in each column.
      • Example: Filter by Alien Number. Enter a sequence (e.g., “123”) to filter contacts whose alien numbers begin with or contain “123.”

    • Filter Cases: Apply filters to narrow down the cases shown.
      • Example: Filter for Consular Process (DS-260) cases that are open. Add another filter for closed cases if needed.
  • 6. Exporting and Using Data
