Trust Account and Financial Reports

Now that Prima.Law has released invoices, billing, payment plans, payments and time tracking, there are a number of new tools that you can use to manage and monitor the financial performance of your firm including your trust account.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • 1. Accessing the Administrator Panel
    • Open Administrator Panel: Navigate to the administrator panel by clicking on the administrator panel icon in the corner.
    • Select Reports Tab: Click on the “Reports” tab to access the reporting features.
  • 2. Generating a Client Ledger Report
    • Choose Client: Select the specific client for whom you want to generate a ledger report.
    • Set Date Range: Define the date range for the report.
    • Select Output Format: Choose the output format (e.g., web format).
    • Generate Report: Click “Generate Report” to create the ledger report. The report will display all transactions for the selected client within the specified date range.
  • 3. Generating a Trust Ledger Report
    • Select Trust Account: Choose the trust account that has been set up in Prima.Law.
    • Choose Client: Again, select the specific client.
    • Set Date Range: Define the date range for the report.
    • Select Output Format: Choose the output format (e.g., web format).
    • Generate Report: Click “Generate Report” to create the trust ledger report. The report will show all transactions for the selected trust account and client within the specified date range.
  • 4. Generating an Account Ledger Report
    • Select Account Type: Choose either the trust account or business account.
    • Choose Client: Select the specific client.
    • Set Date Range: Define the date range for the report.
    • Select Output Format: Choose the output format.
    • Generate Report: Click “Generate Report” to create the account ledger report. The report will display financial transactions related to the selected account and client.

Viewing client financial reports in Prima.Law is straightforward. By following these steps, you can generate detailed ledger reports for clients, trust accounts, and business accounts. These reports help in tracking all financial transactions and maintaining transparency with your clients.
